“And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.” (Luke 15:9 KJV)
I finally get it. She has friends and neighbours to rejoice with! I too often glaze on past whether the coin was actually valuable or not. I mean that was the point of the parable, right? It was valuable! But the bonus to me is that when we discover something wonderful in God’s word, not only is that discovery valuable; we have someone to share it with! What a treasure!
