Gospel of John

Beginning Sun Jan 21, we are starting a new series “The other side of the boat” that will cover, chapter by chapter, the Gospel of John. The series title comes from John 21:6 where Jesus instructs them to cast their nets on the other side of the boat. The obvious result of an abundant catch of fish was exclusively due to their attentiveness to Jesus and their willingness to obey. The intent of the series is to both have a in-depth Bible study of the Gospel of John and to gain a perspective of where Jesus is. For all the scholarly knowledge that an individual can accumulate, it is not of practical use unless you have a love for, an obedience to, and a surrender to Jesus. He is the head!
