Unsearchable

“O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!” (Romans 11:33 KJV)

Unsearchable? Is not everything searchable nowadays? I even searched a database to find the reference for this verse! What actually makes something unsearchable? No index? That certainly makes a search really really slow. No unique key? That will certainly take the structure out of a query real quick. What actually makes something completely unsearchable? What if something either had no beginning and no end or had a beginning and an end that was way beyond your comprehension? Something so unfathomable both because of it’s size and because of how really different from us it is. We can sift through day to day experiences and events, but until we know Jesus we cannot see either the beginning or the end. It is only by the presence of His Spirit that we can see any of the index that gives things a uniquely identifiable value.

“For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.” (Rom 11:36 KJV)
